What a crazy place. I love it! It has so many different things, from scrap wood and plexiglass to licorice to shampoo to airsoft guns. You would think with so much variety that it would be a mess, but it's fairly well organized and I watched the staff working hard to replenish and place new items. They have a ton of camping related goods too, just not tents. Be careful though, you'll walk out with a bunch of stuff you did not know you needed. HA! You can't miss it with the military tank out front and the Spitfire airplane over the adjacent building.

Where else am I gonna buy things I didn’t know I needed?? Great prices. Always something you didn’t expect to find. It’s definitely my first stop when I have a project I’m building! Lots of camping gear as well, winter wear, and home goods!

I had an amazing experience the other day with Todd, he cashed me out and was the nicest person. We had a lovely interaction about our holidays and I really do think the world needs more Todd’s. You rock Todd!!!!

Looking for the unique or different item, this may be the stop to find it. Their inventory changes pretty consistently so if you don't see it one week, come back the next. Prices are very reasonable. Lots of camping gear, tools, hardware items, paintball supplies and computer items, for example. But, there are tons of various items. They also have an equally good store in Cambridge called Cambridge Surplus on Eagle St. N.

Had some old man with glasses that worked there literally standing beside me screaming at me " your bag sir" at the top of his lungs because I was wearing a backpack, even though I had my wallet in my hand and already had a basket full of freeze dried meals. So I simply ignored him, turned my headphones up and kept shopping while he screamed at me. Definitely won't be returning for anymore products as I don't appreciate being made to feel like a thief or being screamed at. Maybe have someone at the door monitoring for bags instead of waiting until someone is already shopping then screaming at them. Poor customer service.

Absolutely speechless. My experience happened to be at the spitfire emporium but it is under the same ownership as kw surplus. The staff is just absolutely amazing. I made 2 big purchases which they in fact gave unbelievable discounts on and I will forever be satisfied with my experience. Cathy was the upmost of help, I sometimes just go in to not even buy anything but just talk because she is just such an amazing person to talk to and share stories with. This not only goes for Cathy but the rest of the staff. I purchased a large scale model from the store and they helped me load it in safely and offered to secure it as well. The owner is just amazing. He came out to personally talk to me about Aviation and shared many intriguing stories that I will never forget. I think 5 stars is an understatement for the appreciation I have towards this store and staff. I just walked in as a customer and I was already treated like family. Thank you again for everything.

Great place, love coming here. Madison's service, however, was horrendous. I work in customer service, so I'm always nice when greeting people, but she immediately put me off. Awful service on her part

If you combined your fav liquidation place, electronics store, dollar store, outdoor store and hardware store all in one you have yourself K W Surplus Lots of camping outdoor gear survivalist cast iron fishing hunting camo gear sleeping bags camo nets fishing nets and flies gallore... As well as stationary toys home decore appliances mega tools electronics monitors car audio systems electronic components, wood, tires of all sizes... Wrenches ratchets tork tools impact sockets power cables extension cords tool boxes grinder discs and sander belts circular saw blades hacksaw and reciprocating blades Gardening tools shovels accessories hoses Dowels biscuits loose screws nails anchors hinges lots of hardware... And more! Would have been 5 stars if they had an accessible entrance for the hubster and others. Great store good pricing. Maybe you could add signage at the bottom of the stairs suggesting accessible options around the back?
